Chasing Dreams, Forging Ahead—New Year's Address from Swan

As the last cotton harvester returns to the yard and the roar of the ginning plant gradually fades, we once again stand at the intersection of old and new times, moving forward with steady and powerful steps. Over the past year, we have pieced together moments of hard work into a magnificent panorama, gathered countless efforts into a mighty force, turned the ordinary into the extraordinary, and created brilliance through dedication. What has encouraged us most is the growing trust, support, and assistance from our customers, partners, and friends; what has moved us most deeply is the selfless care, dedication, and understanding from leaders at all levels, from every employee, and from the families standing firmly behind them. Here, we extend our sincerest gratitude and best wishes to you all.

Looking back on 2025, in the face of uncharted waters, fierce market competition, and the intensity of full-scale service operations, we stood united and pressed forward with courage. We strengthened our conviction to build a world-class enterprise, delivered outstanding results at the forefront of the industry, and witnessed acts of selfless dedication and tireless struggle—memories that leave us deeply moved and unforgettable.

Over the past year, we seized opportunities and built a new global market landscape. Confronted with sluggish demand at home and abroad and increasingly fierce competition, we did everything possible to capture market share, expand channels, and improve quality and efficiency. The application scope of the “60-bale” production line continued to expand, and by leveraging overseas partnerships, it successfully entered the Central Asian market, setting a benchmark for overseas demonstration and leadership. Products such as the image-based three-contaminant cleaning machine and the new-generation lint cleaner further strengthened their advantages in niche markets. Grain drying tower products expanded their presence beyond provincial borders, while cotton harvesters advanced through coordinated efforts in both domestic and international markets, achieving simultaneous growth in scale and quality. In emerging markets such as Central Asia, South America, and Africa, we advanced cautiously yet boldly, actively exploring, daring to experiment, dynamically optimizing market strategies, striving for market share, and improving our marketing and service networks. As a result, our international business achieved historic breakthroughs.

Over the past year, innovation has led our efforts to enhance industry productivity for users. Centered on user needs and industry pain points, we continuously strengthened technological innovation. The “final step” of cotton processing has achieved full automation—from baling and sealing to labeling—while AI-based “three-contaminant” cotton processing technology now spans the entire chain from seed cotton to lint cotton. This has significantly reduced foreign fiber content in machine-picked cotton, creating greater value for cotton overall. Products such as new-energy cotton harvesters, high-density baling harvesters, high-speed picking heads, 12-row grain harvesters, and grain drying tower series were successfully tested one after another, providing users with more comprehensive solutions. We led the formulation and revision of three national standards and two industry standards, undertook one major national project and three provincial- and ministerial-level scientific research projects, and won multiple honors including the First Prize of the XPCC Science and Technology Progress Award, contributing to breakthroughs in key core technologies of the cotton industry.

Over the past year, we advanced quality-driven manufacturing and strengthened the product value chain by benchmarking against world-class standards. Manufacturing processes were refined to the highest standards, with new processes and tooling continuously emerging. Everyone contributed ingenuity, achieving remarkable results in quality improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement. The Xinjiang company was approved as one of the first batch of 5G smart factories of the XPCC; the Inner Mongolia company was recognized as an “Autonomous Region Green Factory”; the “XPCC Cotton Harvesting and Processing Equipment Manufacturing Pilot Platform” was selected as one of the first batch of manufacturing pilot platforms of the XPCC; and Xinjiang’s first automated saw blade production line was put into operation. High-end equipment and key component manufacturing reached world-leading levels. The Huyanghe base was put into operation, the Tumushuke service center was completed and launched, and two overseas service companies in Central Asia were established and began operations. By densely expanding our service network, we further shortened service radii, steadily increased average operating acreage per machine, and gained greater user recognition for product quality and service.

Over the past year, we accumulated strength and built momentum, strengthening our reputation and expanding brand influence. In the era of self-media, every user is our brand ambassador. In casual photos taken at ginning plants, bright and tidy workshops and fully automated processing equipment are on display, while the comment sections are filled with praise. During the harvest season, Swan cotton harvesters traverse vast cotton fields under glowing sunsets, with snow-capped Tianshan Mountains in the distance, inspiring admiration for a new generation of cotton farmers. We were honored as an Outstanding National Cotton Processing Standardization Organization, selected for the National Supply and Marketing Cooperatives’ list of key leading enterprises, and invited to participate in the “Achievements of Made in China during the 14th Five-Year Plan” exhibition. In September this year, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Liu Zhenli, Member of the Central Military Commission and Deputy Head of the Central Delegation, visited the Xinjiang company for inspection. CCTV’s documentary Mission of the XPCC provided in-depth coverage of the company’s research and development journey in cotton harvesters, enabling the Swan brand to break through traditional boundaries and reach wider audiences.

Over the past year, Party building has guided our development, uniting hearts and efforts to form a shared circle of progress. By thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and by using Party building to lead high-quality development, we vigorously promoted the corporate culture of “one family, one heart, one shared strength.” A large number of role models emerged from the front lines, taking root at the grassroots level and tackling the toughest challenges. On summer production frontlines, continuous high temperatures led to frequent colds and fevers—some colleagues returned to work immediately after intravenous treatment. On the frontlines of autumn harvest services, more than 300 men and women of all ages joined the effort, with many women proving every bit as resilient, leaving their families and personal affairs behind for over 100 days. In distant foreign lands, some colleagues have been stationed in overseas markets for as long as ten months and have yet to return home, all in the pursuit of expanding territory and securing more orders. Different battlegrounds, the same perseverance; different roles, the same belief—this is the most brilliant fruit of our shared commitment and collective spirit.

As a new cycle begins and all things are renewed, this is our 2025. Amid the joy of harvest and the memories of progress, the year has come to a successful close. Looking ahead to 2026, a new year brings a new journey and new hopes. Let us anchor ourselves to the “three major strategic goals,” advance with the passion of galloping winds and the courage to sail through waves, pursue our dreams with determination, and strive boldly ahead.
